groups up and ushered them down the streets, no official reports of injury. one witness claims that he sought a young girl that was injured a while ago. >> we had just parked our car, and we saw a group of kids in all of a sudden, there was a big fight and the girl was hit a few times. there was a police response afterwards, it was not a quick response. they broke up the fight. once that happened at the teenagers scattered. >> chicago police released a statement ... michigan avenue continues to be saved, when you saw tonight was a minor disturbance. five juveniles were arrested for obstruction of traffic or being reckless.

stable condition after he was shot in the abdomen outside old orchard mall. the shooting happened just before ten friday night near golf road and skokie boulevard-- across the street from niles north high school. a carnival was taking place at the time. police shut down roads on the south end of the mall. they have not released the age of the victim...he's only identified as a juvenille. no arrests have been made in the shooting. in chicago, three people were killed, including a teenage boy, in shootings throughout the city since yesterday. at least eight others were wounded. three of those were shot just before midnight at a vacant lot in the 1200 block of south kolin...just off roosevelt road. a man and a woman in their 30's were taken to the hospital in serious condition. a 21-year-old woman was listed in "grave" condition from a gunshot wound to the neck. no arrestes have been made. a federal and state disaster recovery

next 24-36 hours, these have been powerful storms. no less than 125 reports of severe weather, most of them in kansas and oklahoma. tornadoes were associated with this system. many sections of the plans are under a tornado watch. a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect to the north. that system is heading for chicago and it may trigger a thunderstorm late tomorrow. tornadoes seem to be affecting primarily western kansas and parts of nebraska. it is possible we could see something flare up later tomorrow, a better chance on monday and tuesday. by the time we get into the middle of the week, 1-2 in. of rainfall.

and there will be getting matt garza back on tuesday...he returns from the dl after being shelved in spring training. the cubs took care of the mets at wrigley. despite a bleacher full of new york fans....their suppport did not help....the cubs led 2-nothing when scott feldman helps his own cause....he sends a shot to right center and it will go all the way to the wall....two runs score and it was 4- nothing....cubs on their way.. feldman also pitched well...6 strikouts....in 6 and two thirds...no runs and jjust seven hits... and the cubs would bury the mets... anthony rizzo sends a line drive into the right field corner and it clears the wall...his 10th of the year...the cubs win it...8- 2....scott feldman now 4 and 3. trying to extend the white sox streak ... they lead 4-0. not around to see
